For MOT test purposes, your motorhome should be covered by the normal car (class 4) MOT test

Only military and police vehicles are exempt from MOTs, although ACPO decree that all Police vehicles are MOT’d in the normal way. Motorhomes older than 3 years old will require an MOT.

UK motorhomes are built using a commercial base vehicle, fitted with a commercial engine. These base vehicles are constructed by commercial base vehicle manufacturers and are then converted into motorhomes by UK-based motorhome manufacturers.
